This privacy policy covers your use of the roamTone website: browsing it, registering an account, buying mobile top-ups, gift card PINs, SIM cards or eSIMs, and using order lookup and customer support.
We process information only as far as it is needed to provide the service, keep transactions secure, meet our obligations and improve the buying experience. Account and contact details
When you register, recover an order or contact support, we may process your email address, your account identifier, and any Telegram, WhatsApp or other contact details you choose to give us.
If you choose Sign in with Google, Google gives us your verified email address and unique Google account identifier. We use them only to create or sign in to your roamTone account, keep the same account linked and prevent account mismatches. We do not receive your Google password or request access to your contacts, mail, files or other Google service data. The identifier is stored with your account record and is shared and retained only as described in sections 3 and 5 of this policy.
Order and delivery details
To complete a transaction we process the order number, the product selected, the amount, the currency, the number or account being topped up, the country or region, the carrier, the payment method, the payment status and the delivery status. Physical SIM card orders may also require a recipient name, phone number and shipping address.
Payment details
Online payments are handled by the relevant payment provider. We receive the payment status, the transaction reference and the reconciliation data needed to complete the order. We never ask you to give roamTone a payment account password or a crypto private key.
Device and usage data
To keep the site running and to prevent abuse, we may record IP addresses, browser and device type, access times, page interactions, session identifiers and the error logs we need.
We use it to confirm product and payment details, create and process orders, complete a top-up or PIN delivery, send order status notifications, link earlier orders to your account, handle refunds and disputes, and answer support requests.
We also use it, as far as necessary, for risk control, fraud and abuse prevention, troubleshooting, keeping the service secure, improving pages and flows, and complying with applicable legal obligations.
To deliver the service you chose, we may pass the necessary information to the relevant carriers, product suppliers, payment providers, logistics providers, or infrastructure and customer support providers. What we pass on is limited to what that service requires.
We do not sell your personal information. Where the law requires it, where a regulator or law enforcement agency makes a lawful request, or where it is genuinely necessary to protect the rights of users, the platform or a third party, we may disclose information as the law allows.
The site uses the cookies, session storage and local storage it needs in order to keep you signed in and to carry the purchase flow, to remember your language and page preferences, to restore page state and to make repeated actions smoother. Disabling these may prevent sign-in, ordering or payment from completing.
We keep information only for as long as we need it to complete orders, provide support, maintain transaction records, resolve disputes, keep the service secure and meet legal obligations. Beyond that period we delete, anonymise or restrict the processing of the information, depending on what it was used for.
We protect information with technical and organisational measures matched to the risk, including access restrictions, session protection, payment status verification and checks on unusual transactions. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed absolutely secure, so please look after your account, your verification codes and your order details, and never disclose a password, a private key or a payment receipt to anyone else.
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information held in your account, and you can raise a question or an objection about how it is processed. Some order and transaction records may have to be kept for contract performance, security or legal reasons.
When you make such a request we may need to verify your identity and that the order is yours, so that information cannot be obtained or altered by someone who is not authorised.
Because product suppliers, carriers and payment services may be located in different countries or regions, completing an order may involve cross-border processing. We require our partners to process information only as far as providing the service requires.
This service is not directed at anyone under 16. Minors should use it only with the guidance and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
