☉ Nothing is posted — we email you a QR code
☉ Your phone should support eSIM natively (certain Apple, Samsung, Google and Xiaomi models)
☉ It also needs to support roaming on China Mobile / China Unicom 4G and 3G bands
☉ Devices such as 5Ber usually work too, but we cannot guarantee it
☉ The QR code can only be scanned once; once the email is sent there are no refunds or exchanges
☉ Please make sure you are comfortable with eSIMs before buying |
| eSIMRoaming, sign-ups, verification codes, texts and calls |
☉ Check whether the plan includes a phone number; plans with a number can always receive texts free of charge
☉ The SIM is new (you can tell from the activation text and the expiry date; the QR code installs once only)
☉ We cannot say whether a given app will accept the number for sign-up, and we do not know those sign-up flows
☉ If one app’s text never arrives, try another to confirm texts work at all
☉ With enough balance you can send texts (sending while roaming may fail; not guaranteed)
☉ Data-only or zero-balance plans can only receive texts — see each plan’s details
☉ See each eSIM’s coverage list (all work in mainland China by default; check the details for calls and data)
☉ “International roaming” means roaming data works in the listed regions; we suggest activating in China first, then roaming elsewhere
☉ Receiving texts is free; sending texts and making calls may be expensive or unavailable, and we do not know the exact tariffs
☉ The roaming regions listed come from the carrier’s own documentation — we have not tested them and cannot guarantee them |
